The Anti-War Web Ring opposes the idea that war solves problems. It is a collection of Web sites that oppose specific wars, and it is a forum for people who are curious about pacifism and militarism to learn more about how war is a cyclical, self-perpetuating phenomenon. Billions of dollars of tax money go towards the maintenance of this war system, but very little public money is spent promoting thought about potential alternatives. In fact, each year, more U.S. federal tax dollars are given to the Pentagon than are allocated for education.
